Our story
They call me Ruderalis Rex, because of my love for Autoflowers. I was born in Hollywood, California, and raised in East Los Angeles. I Spent 15 years working as a chef, a career that shaped my work ethic and creativity. After a back injury forced me to step away from the kitchen, I found a new purpose: helping others to learn how to grow their own cannabis. I'm committed to providing access to free cannabis seeds so people can become more self-sufficient and connect to the plant. I recently started my YouTube channel to document my own grows and invite others to grow alongside me, learn together, and build a community around knowledge and independence.
What Are AutoFlowers?
Autoflowering cannabis is a type of cannabis plant that begins flowering automatically after a short vegetative period, typically 2-4 weeks from germination, regardless of changes in light exposure. This trait comes from Cannabis Ruderalis Genetics, a subspecies adapted to harsh climates with short growing seasons. Unlike photoperiod strains, which require specific light schedules (such as 12 hours of darkness) to trigger flowering, autoflowers are genetically programmed to flower based on maturity rather than environmental light cues.

I recently kicked off a new grow using Deep Water Culture (DWC) system, and it's already been one of the most rewarding setups I've worked with. By suspending the plant roots directly in an oxygen-rich nutrient solution, DWC allows for explosive growth and precise control over every stage of development. Dialing in the water temperature, PH, and nutrient balance has become part science, part art-and watching the roots thrive in that environment is something every grower should experience at least once. This run is all about Pushing efficiency and plant health to the next level, and I'll be sharing the progress, challenges, and results along the way.
